Thank you for your interest in joining the growing team here at BEST Transportation of St Louis. We are the Premier Sedan and Limousine Company serving the St Louis metropolitan area. "Customer Service" is what sets our company apart from the others. All of our chauffeurs are expected to "WOW" our clients each and every time we have them in our cars. The qualifications to join our chauffeur team are as follows:
- 25 Years of age or older
- CDL Class B with P endorsement & 2 years of driving experience (preferred)
- Clean MVR, and able to obtain a clean St Louis City/County Background check
- Pass a DOT physical and 5 panel drug test
- Must be able to lift 50-70lbs at a time. Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time based on the details of the assigned trip.
- Obtain the MTC Premium Sedan License from the Metropolitan Taxi Commission ($100.00 cost of the license, paid by the driver)
- Obtain, Airport Drivers Badge, ($25.00 cost to driver)
- Successfully Complete Our Chauffeur Training Program
- Knowledge of the St Louis Metro area. Able to map your trips in advance of your start time.
- Required to be here on the lot 1 Hour before your first P/U.
- Must be *** ON TIME, EVERY TIME!
Your income potential is limited to the amount of time you have available to drive. Weekends are required work days. We cater to our client's needs, so we are unable to structure set hours of employment. We require all chauffeurs to have an open flexible schedule. BEST Transportation is a 24/7 operation. We provide transfers to and from the St Louis Airport, hourly trips in sedans, limousines, SUV's and Buses. Other limo companies often pay just $5-$9 per hour and our base CDL chauffeur pay starts at $18 per hour which enables us to hire the BEST Chauffeurs.
If hired, you will be required to obtain a black suit, black dress shoes, white button down dress shirt, dark socks. A company tie will be issued. As a professional chauffeur you will need the tools of the trade. You will need to have maps of the local area. You will need to communicate effectively with dispatch and with our clients. Looking the Part, Acting the Part, and Driving the Part will play a key roll in how effective you are as a chauffeur and if you will meet the strict criteria of BEST Transportation of St Louis.
