Why Wedding Transportation is a Necessity, Not a Luxury

Don’t let a transportation mishap put the brakes on your special day. As much as we would like to rely on our flawless planning, hair appointments run late, groomsmen forget their wallets, and you might even want a few extra photos before you head to the reception. Add in the frantic trips back and forth from the parking lot and all of that movement creates anxiety that could be saved by incorporating chauffeured transportation into your wedding plans. Haven’t thought much about it? Here are some reasons why you shouldn’t leave the transportation to chance.

1. “Bridal Brain” is Real

Between keeping track of your handwritten vows and remembering all the moves to your choreographed first dance, you’ll have a lot to think about on your wedding day. When it’s “go time,” the last thing your bridal brain will want to do is drag your dress across a parking lot and cram into your sister’s SUV. Instead, ease your nerves and kick off the festivities with style in a party bus!

2. Famous Last Words: “What Could Go Wrong?”

Accidents happen and everybody has their quirks. Maybe your best man can’t be on time to save his life. Maybe your grandparents drive an unreliable car. Sometimes, people can’t always get where they want to go when they want to get there. In short, if someone utters the words, “I’m gonna MapQuest it,” it’s time to think of an alternate plan. If there’s any uncertainty about being in the right place at the right time, that’s your cue to bring in a chauffeur.

3. Don't Leave Your Guests Guessing

Let’s be honest…although that rustic barn is absolutely perfect for your theme, party size, and color scheme, it’s a little bit off the grid. Don’t leave your guests subject to following their ever-recalculating GPS all over the tri-state area. Instead, consider providing a shuttle for their convenience and comfort.

4. All Aboard the Hot Mess Express

Receptions are always a good time, but after the bubbles have been blown and the happy couple has left the building, how are your friends and family getting back to the hotel? They’ll be pretty worn out after a long night of dancing and if alcohol was involved, they shouldn’t be driving anywhere anytime soon. Arranging a simple bus will ensure their safety – plus, it’s a great way to close out the evening and show gratitude to your guests for attending.

When it comes to your wedding day, don't leave the logistics to chance. Make sure each aspect of your wedding has proper transportation in place (chauffeured or otherwise). Follow this checklist to plan ahead!
